Beginner-Intermediate Lessons: Sundays Oct 15-Dec 10* OR Saturdays Oct 21-Dec 16* *No classes Thanksgiving weekend. 10:00 - 10:45 AM (ages 6-12) 11:00 - 12:00 PM (ages 13 - 103) Drumming equipment is provided, including taiko drums, bachi (drum sticks), and dai (stands). Bring your own ear plugs & water, and wear comfortable clothing and shoes.  We'll be pre-show performing in the Orpheum lobby @ 6:30pm! Come say Hi! Afterward, we'll be absorbing Kodo's soul-stirring beats, too!

This year, NCA is proud to host a group of world-acclaimed Traditional Chinese instrument performers and Yue Opera performers from Los Angeles as well as other cultural performers from the Heartland of America. This exclusive performance promises to dazzle the entire family with an exquisite production. It will be a journey through Asian culture and history, combining colorful pageantry, stunning costumes, masterful choreography, and beautiful music. Come and experience the unique sound of East and West as Chinese percussion instruments are paired with other sounds from around the world. It will be an amazing and remarkable Asian cultural extravaganza for the whole family.
