The Nebraska Chinese Association will be hosting the One Community Cultural Festival on Sun, Aug 11 from 11am-7pm at Aksarben Village Stinson Park in Omaha, Nebraska. This cultural event hosted by the Nebraska Chinese Association is intended to unite local nonprofit cultural associations, and will raise money for victims of the 2019 flood in Nebraska and Iowa. Events all day from 9am-8pm. Join us at People's City Mission's largest community event and fundraiser. Money raised helps the homeless and impoverished of Lincoln.
Join us for 3:30pm performances on both Sat, Oct 7 and Sun, Oct 8 at Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha, NE! The annual Japanese Ambience Festival is co-hosted by Omaha Sister Cities Association and Lauritzen Gardens. Cultural events run from 9am-5pm, and most events are free with a paid garden admission or garden membership.
On Sat, Oct 7, follow us as we head out of Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha to a 2nd performance of the day in Lincoln at the Harvest Moon Festival! This annual event is sponsored by the Asian Community & Cultural Center of Lincoln. We hope to see you!
We'll be performing in Roca, Nebraska's Annual Children's Country Fair coming up on Sat, Sept 16. The fair will be from 10am-2pm, with a Kokyo performance at 10:15 on the Interactive Stage. Hope to see you there!
Next up, performance for the Omaha Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League. The organization will be holding its annual Aki Yoru fundraising dinner on Fri, Sept. 29 at Mt. Fuji Inn in Omaha, Nebraska (7215 Blondo St.) The event is scheduled to start at 6:30pm. Dinner tickets are by RSVP only, and must be reserved by Monday, Sept. 18. Cost is $35 per adult ticket ($17 tax-deductible), and children's meal tickets are $10 (not deductible). Click here to contact Omaha JACL if interested.
