Join us for 3:30pm performances on both Sat, Oct 7 and Sun, Oct 8 at Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha, NE! The annual Japanese Ambience Festival is co-hosted by Omaha Sister Cities Association and Lauritzen Gardens. Cultural events run from 9am-5pm, and most events are free with a paid garden admission or garden membership.
On Sat, Oct 7, follow us as we head out of Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha to a 2nd performance of the day in Lincoln at the Harvest Moon Festival! This annual event is sponsored by the Asian Community & Cultural Center of Lincoln. We hope to see you!
We'll be performing in Roca, Nebraska's Annual Children's Country Fair coming up on Sat, Sept 16. The fair will be from 10am-2pm, with a Kokyo performance at 10:15 on the Interactive Stage. Hope to see you there!
Next up, performance for the Omaha Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League. The organization will be holding its annual Aki Yoru fundraising dinner on Fri, Sept. 29 at Mt. Fuji Inn in Omaha, Nebraska (7215 Blondo St.) The event is scheduled to start at 6:30pm. Dinner tickets are by RSVP only, and must be reserved by Monday, Sept. 18. Cost is $35 per adult ticket ($17 tax-deductible), and children's meal tickets are $10 (not deductible). Click here to contact Omaha JACL if interested.
Come celebrate the Year of the Rooster with free food & cultural activities from 2 to 5pm. Kokyo Taiko performance scheduled for 3pm.
Performance will be at Auld Pavilion at Antelope Park, 1650 Memorial Drive in Lincoln.

The fundraising dinner is open to the public. Cost for a dinner is $35 ($17 tax-deductible). Kokyo Taiko and the UNO Friends of Japan club will be providing entertainment during the dinner.

Looking for something fun to do Saturday, Sept 17? Come by Antelope Park (by the amphitheater stage) to the Harvest Moon Festival. Celebrate fall with food, activities, and performances from various Asian cultures. Kokyo Taiko traditional Japanese drum performance 和太鼓 will be at 6:30pm.

1) UNL Samurai Dinner
Join Kokyo at 6:00 and 6:30pm on Wed, April 27 in the UNL Cather, Pound, Neihardt Dining Hall (540 N. 16th St.). The event runs from 4:30-8:30pm, and is $10.50 per adult for those without a meal plan at the dining hall.
2) Bellevue University Global Festival
Join us at 7:30 pm on Fri, May 6 on the main campus of Bellevue University, at the Margre H. Durham Student Center. Come see several performances from around the world, and sample different foods. The event starts at 6pm, and is open to the public. Admission is free!

Join UNL's Global Friends of Japan for Japan Night on Friday, April 8 from 6-10pm at the UNL Union Ballroom. Tickets will be available starting Monday. Enjoy food, activities, and a performance by Kokyo Taiko!
Tickets are $15 for public or at the door. $10 in advance for UNL Students, with a discount for purchases of 9 or more tickets.
